Day #25 – Who will win the biggest?
Dear MPM Member,
We're going to start today with a very basic truth… The person who contacts the most people will be the biggest winner. Let's repeat that for you… The person who contacts the most people will be the biggest winner. One more time just to make sure you got it…
THE PERSON WHO CONTACTS THE MOST PEOPLE
WILL BE THE BIGGEST WINNER!!
Now, we want to take this time to address a very important issue. Not everyone wants to be a big winner. You may want to give away only 5 Power Malls? You want to make just enough additional income to get by? That’s great! MPM was designed for the average person wanting to do the average amount of work. Get your 5 Members. Make sure they are great people and then help them duplicate all the way down through your Shopping Rebate System. In time, you will see your income top $100,000 a year.
But what if you want more? What if you aren’t content with being average? What if you want to make big money? What if you want to give away Power Malls to 50 or more people? Then you’ll need to pay close attention to this information. And you’ll have to determine that you are going to work the numbers.
That’s really what it is all about. We’ve said it a hundred times already; building a successful MPM business is a numbers game. It’s really very simple. Some people you talk to are going to say yes. Some are going to say no. You simply have to talk to enough people – to make sure enough say yes – to make sure your business grows as large as you want it to.
At the beginning you are going to have to talk to more people. Because you’re learning how to present MPM. You’re learning how to handle questions and objections. You’re learning how to be the kind of confident leader people want to follow. It will take talking to more people to get the yeses you want to get.
How many people do you need to talk to? That depends on your dreams and goals – but let’s look at one scenario. Let’s assume you are brand new to MPM and are working it on a part-time basis. (That is going to be true for the majority of your team in the beginning.) Let’s also assume that when you make a commitment, you keep it. The commitment you’ve made is to contact at least 2 new people a day. To be honest, that should be the minimum commitment you make toward building your business if you really are serious about making it grow. Go back and look at all the ideas for connecting with people. It’s not such a big deal. Whether that is your warm market; people you meet around town; or people you are calling on the phone – they are people you actually TALK to. We’re not talking about people who don’t answer the phone; or people you just think about talking to. These are people you have sent an E-card to; people you have directed to your website with a personal Invitation card or flyer; or people you have spoken with and sent to your website.
Okay, we think you know what we mean by 2 people a day. We’ll assume you are going to do this 6 days a week, which means you will have contacted 12 people a week – or 50 people a month. See how the numbers are adding up? Now, what can you expect from these numbers? Every scenario will be different, but on an average you can expect to sign up one out of every 5. Keep remembering you are giving away a Mall worth $500,000! Not too good, you say? Let’s keep inspecting the numbers.
You’ve signed up 10 members in your first month! If each of your team is duplicating that, you’ve now got close to 100 in your team. More importantly, you’ve already positioned yourself for amazing income!
You maintain your commitment of 2 people a day. My guess is that as you see your business growing you’re going to talk to more, but let’s just stick with your commitment. 2 people a day. 12 a week. 50 a month (4.5 weeks a month). 10 new members a month. Where does that take us in one year? 600 contacts a year. 120 new members in your first year. I don’t think your calculator will take you that high but you might want to try.
And that’s only your first year. You’re probably full time by now and talking to tons of people, or simply hanging out on a beach somewhere, but our scenario is for a commitment of 2, and I want you to see how small numbers can add up. Your second year you do the same thing and give away another 120 Power Malls. Now you’re at 240. Wow!
So here is the moral of this story. Decide on your commitment. Then do it! Work the numbers. Make the numbers work for you. Be consistently consistent. There is no secret to this business. It really IS a simple matter of numbers. Now, repeat after me…
THE PERSON WHO CONTACTS THE MOST PEOPLE
WILL BE THE BIGGEST WINNER!!
We believe in you!!
