Power Bite # 45 - What If You're Starting From Broke?
Hello MPM Member,
Is My Power Mall for everyone? We believe it is! Can you succeed with MPM if you are broke or have very few resources? We believe you can! The question is – can someone build a successful MPM business if they are starting with nothing? We believe the answer is yes, but you (listen carefully if you are one of them) need to accept some basic truths in the very beginning:
1 - You are going to have to work harder than other people who have money to invest.
2 - You are going to have to be creative and think “outside-the-box” thoughts.
3 - You have to accept that it will probably take you a little longer than it will for people with money to invest.
4 - You are going to have to want it badly enough to pay a little higher price – knowing that your rewards will be exponentially greater as well!
5 – Your primary goal is to have as many World Changers as possible join your team quickly so that you can upgrade with a guaranteed stream of income that you have already created. What do I mean? Well, if you have World Changers on your Team you have Team Pay that you’re not being paid because you don’t qualify for it since you have a Business Starter Mall. There is a link in the Back Office that shows you exactly how much you would be making if you were a World Changer. As you build your team, keep an eye on this. When you know for sure you’ll be making more money than you’ll be spending you can upgrade!
Okay… if you are starting with nothing, or have people on your team starting with nothing, and you really want to succeed, here’s where we want you to start:

You'll want to read this Power Bite again, and again, and again – making sure you do all the exercises. All the great ideas we are about to share with you will mean nothing if you haven’t laid a solid foundation in your life and heart. ****
Now, here are some suggestions for ways to build your business:
1 – If you don’t have a computer - go to the library on a daily basis or work out a trade agreement with a neighbor to use their computer. Offer to baby sit in exchange for your computer time. Fix your specialty recipe. Do some yard work. Find something they need and do it in exchange for some regular computer time.
2 – Make absolutely sure you are receiving our emails – especially since you probably can’t download the RSS Feed Reader on someone else’s computer. We will give you a daily flow of information and inspiration that will keep you moving forward – even when you think you can’t do it. If you’re not getting our emails go to the home page of your Back Office and click on the link that will tell you how to make sure you receive them.
3 – Don’t have a car to get to the library? Catch the bus, pull out your bike, or walk. Remember – you’re going to have to work harder to make it happen but, hey, the exercise will be great for you!
4 – What to do once you’re in front of the computer? Send out Permission Emails. This concept was introduced to us by one of our very first members. Basically you are sending someone an email to ask if you can send them some information on My Power Mall. Where do you find these people? Go to your favorite search engine and search for "Free Classified Ads and Classified Ads." Then go to the ads where people are advertising for folks to join their business. The odds are that they are part of the 97% failing! Send them an email that says:
Hello ______,
I am responding to your ad I saw online. While it looks interesting I believe I have something you will be eager to know about as an additional stream of income but I want to make sure I do not SPAM anyone. The reason I’m writing is to ask you if I can send you a brief email that will introduce you to my program. I’ll check out yours and you can check out mine. Sound fair?

Now, what you CAN do is attach a banner at the bottom of your email. You are still asking permission, but you can include your MPM banner in your signature, or else put your MPM website in a signature file. Go into your email system to learn how to do this!

5 - Send emails to people who are marketing to you!
You may learn to love SPAM and other people’s Marketing emails once you read this. All of us receive emails like this every day. If you hate them right now, I would suggest this is a great time to turn lemons into lemondade! Whenever you get an email, just reply to them with this:
Hello ___________________,
I received your email about _________________. I’m going to check into it more but I’m also eager to share something with you that I think you’ll be very interested in. If you're not making money every time you buy anything, then you'll wnat to know about My Power Mall!
- Receive an online Shopping Mall with 1000+ stores!
- Make money every time you go grocery shopping, buy gasoline, or pay for anything else!

We’ll give you more tips but this should be enough to get you started. Remember, good ideas mean nothing if you don’t follow up with ACTION! Determine to spend at least 1 hour a day building your MPM business. Work online but make sure you also use all the personal, face-to-face tools we have provided for you. You need to build your business quickly so that you can get in a better financial situation. You’ll want to take advantage of every tool and idea we give you!

Shopping Tip: Watch for a magnifying glass in any of the store’s Condition column and be sure to click on it. It will tell you about any special conditions set by that particular merchant that will affect your purchases (and commissions). These conditions are subject to change by the merchants so please check them at least once a month before you shop.
Business Building Tip: When inviting someone to look at MPM, you can use wording like this: "One of my greatest joys is to give away FREE Power Malls. My Power Mall won't interfere with the business you already have, it will help you build it! I hope you will accept my FREE GIFT to you." Then give your domain name or MPM business site URL. Change the World Tip: Help a child who's suffered abuse or neglect. Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (www.nationalcasa.org), which involves reviewing a case and recommending to the court what you believe is best for the child. No legal expertise is required.
