Power Bite # 28 - Knowing Your MPM Tool Chest
Hello MPM Member,
If you haven’t done it, it’s time to have a clear understanding of all the tools available for you to use – all of them FREE! It’s going to take a few Power Bites to introduce you to all of them. The very best thing you can do as you go through your MPM Tool Chest in your Back Office and check each one of them out for yourself!
Before you start down the list, however, please understand your Back Office is your “finger on the pulse of the company.” Anytime something new happens you’ll be able to find the news in your Back Office. You can access every tool you need. You’ll know when the next company call is. Let your Back Office become your best friend!
Okay, let’s explore all the tools available to you. What are they? Let’s just start down the left menu that lists them all:
IP Address Counter -- The counter in your back office lets you know the number of unique visitors to your business site (it's right under Ginny's picture). Hover over the counter to read a detailed description of what it does.
Update My Info - Go here to keep your information up to date. You must have this information complete before we can pay you! This is also where you choose whether to have your information available to your upline and/or downline. The last item on this form is the Privacy Setting. If you did NOT enter an EIN or Social Security Number (U.S. resident), you will not be able to update this information until that is done. This setting hides your address and phone number from the Genealogy reports and the Member Locator. Please realize that if you choose this option the people above you will not be able to contact you or offer you help except via email.
This is also the perfect time to share with you that we are counting on all of you to keep My Power Mall the way we envision it. We once received notice that someone had signed up with the Mall name - Porn Referrals. We were asked whether the Mall should be deactivated or if we should just ask the member to change the Mall name. Ginny's response was to open up Command Central, delete the Mall, and flag all the signup info so they can't sign up again. Besides being a clear violation of the contract where we state we will not have anything that supports pornography, terrorism or hate crimes; we will absolutely not tolerate anything like that, or any person like that, in this magnificent company.
We ask each of you to help us in this area. If you see any Mall names that ring alarm bells in you, please send them directly to Ginny through the Communication Forum. She's the only one who can give final authorization to shut down a Mall and she will take pleasure in doing it personally. We think all of you know we are committed to every single member being able to find personal Financial Freedom but we're just as committed to making sure our systems are not used for destructive purposes. Besides counting on all of you - we also have military personnel and law enforcement we can call on to check things out. While we believe in the innate goodness of most people, we are also wise enough to put things in place to protect MPM from the down side of human nature.

MPM Tax Number Requirement - The Social Security number is required as part of the sign-up information because we are responsible for reporting certain income to the Federal Government. If you have $500 or more (U.S. residents only) in earned commissions, you will be required to enter your SSN or EIN into the system. This information is required in order for you to receive any commissions due, as well as your 1099 at the end of the year. You can trust your Social Security number in our sophisticated, encrypted system!
Review Contract – just what it says. It’s a good thing to know what it says. Ignorance is not always bliss . A wise business person knows the contract that forms their relationship with a company.
Download MPM Toolbar – If you have not already done this, please do it now! It takes only moments and will give you so many great tools to run your business and empower you to make a difference!
Income Calculators – We actually have 2 calculators to show you possible income (you enter the numbers and the computer does the calculations for you). That’s not to say there won’t be more by the time you check out your Back Office. We believe knowledge is very powerful. If you have a clear understanding of what is possible with your business it can help you press through the challenges of making the possibility a reality in your life!
- The Income Calculator has been created to show you the potential of your My Power Mall business. Just fill in the numbers and click on Calculate. We have chosen 8% as the Average Purchase profit inorder to be as realistic as possible.
How much money would you make if everyone on your team were spending $150 a month?
How much money would you make if everyone on your team were spending $100 a month?
How much money would you make if everyone on your team were spending $50 a month?
How much money would you make if everyone on your team were spending only $25 a month?
- The next calculator is the Real Level Income Calculator
Now, if you're brand new, this calculator might not mean much to you but for those who DO have a
team this is a great tool that will tell you exactly how much YOU could be making if everyone on your
team were shopping. All you have to do is go into your Back Office and click on Genealogy
Report online to get the exact numbers for each level and then you can fill in this calculator.
We created this tool so that you can understand just why you want to encourage your team members
to USE their Mall to buy things they are going to buy anyway!
Update Favorite Stores – We told you all about the Favorite Stores list in Power Bite # 7. I hope you took the time to create this because it truly makes your Mall uniquely yours. If you didn’t take the time then, you should know your Mall well enough to do it NOW. :) Quickly create a list of up to 24 of the stores you shop in the most. Instructions are located here to help you create your list. You will see an error message should you try to add a 25th store. Paging through a list of favorites (12 at a time) is going to be slower than simply clicking on a store in the Jump to Store drop-down menu. Just remember that with the Jump to Store option, you will not see a magnifying glass with the store's conditions since you are bypassing that function and going straight to the store.
Read Testimonials – Testimonials from fellow MPM members are so powerful! You can use these testimonials in your marketing and just read them as encouragement!
Submit Your Testimony -- You can also establish yourself as a leader by posting your own testimony. And, your testimony will show on the Business site where new members sign up. When you have something you want to share, we’ve given you a place to do it!

For instance, a Robotics Club designed a special device that enabled a kid stuck in a wheelchair and unable to use his arms, to "throw" balls so he could play fetch with his dog.
