Power Bite # 12 – How Are You Paid?
Dear MPM Member,
We know you watched a presentation but we also know there was a lot of information and it can be difficult to absorb. No matter what Mall you decided to join (Personal Savings, Business Starter, or World Changer) the first thing we want to make sure you understand is that we don’t make you play any of the crazy qualifying games that other companies make you play. When you shop you generate rebates. When people on your Team shop, they generate rebates for you. All you have to do is make one purchase a month – no mandatory amount. (If you have a World Changer Mall, your monthly subscription counts as your One Purchase.) You don’t have to buy a certain amount of anything and you don’t have to have a certain number of people on your team in order to receive your rebates. We know this is difficult for many people to wrap their brains around but it is absolutely true, and it’s NOT GOING TO CHANGE!
Now, what we're going to do here is share the information you heard in the video before you joined. You’ll want to keep this handy so you can refer to it when you need it.

MY POWER MALL is a 9-Tier Shopping Rebate System. In addition to your own shopping, you will receive rebates from every shopper in your system – down through 9 Tiers. Let’s take a look at what that means.
First, I want you to think about everything you purchase on a monthly basis: meals, entertainment, toiletries, clothes, office supplies, gifts, toys, books, music, insurance, etc. Now, would you agree with me that you purchase at least $150 a month of these types of items? Most people spend much more but we’ll start with $150.00. The great news is that every one of these things can be purchased on your own Mall!
Next, let’s think about all the people you know, or all the strangers surrounding you that it would be easy to hand a card to, or send an E-card to. Your goal is to give, notice I said GIVE, a FREE Shopping Mall to at least 10 people. Again, many people will give away many more than 10 – in fact we have people who have given away hundreds – but if you give away only 10 the MY POWER MALL System will generate exciting income for you.
This really is a gift to share with others. You’re giving them a powerful way to save money on things they buy everyday anyway AND you’re introducing them to a way to make amazing income.
Speaking of amazing income… let’s look at the money that can be generated when you give away Shopping Malls to 10 people who then give away 10 Shopping Malls of their own – all the way down through 9 Tiers.
Your own Mall occupies Shopping Tier 1. The 10 people you give it away to will be on your second Shopping Tier. They get 10 each which puts 100 people on your 3rd Shopping Tier and now you have 111 people you are receiving shopping rebates from. But you’re just beginning. Those 100 people each give away 10 Shopping Malls and now you’re at 1000 on Tier 4, which grows into 10,000 on Tier 5. Those 10,000 will all be eager to have their own success, so when they give away their 10 Shopping Malls, you have 100,000 shoppers on your 6th Tier. Tier 7 grows to 1 Million and then the numbers just continue to climb.
Okay, let’s be realistic. Will you create a perfect 10 X 9 Power Mall System? Probably not. Life just doesn’t work that way. But what if only 10% of it happened? Or 20%? Or 30%? Or more?
First, let’s look at the rebate income you will generate from the shopping in the MY POWER MALL System. We created the system to create exciting income for you within the first 4 Shopping Tiers, knowing that in most systems people don’t go any deeper than that. I believe you will here, but still, I want you to have the potential to make exciting money quickly.
Every purchase will earn an instant rebate from the store where you shopped. The rebate % varies from store to store. In the MY POWER MALL system, you will earn 7% of the shopping rebate from your own personal shopping. You’ll earn rebates of 14% on everyone shopping on your 2nd Tier. Then it goes up to 29 % on shoppers on your 3rd tier, and an amazing 35% on those on your 4th tier! Tiers 5 through 9 will pay 3% - 3% that will produce astounding income because of the number of people on those tiers.
Let’s see what this looks like in dollar amounts for a one month period. Remember we’re working with the figure of someone spending $150.00. While each store pays out differently on purchases, we already know the average rebate is 8%, so we’re working from that figure.
When you spend $150 in your own Mall - Tier 1 – you’re going to make $.69
I can hear you now. “You may have just lost me right there, Ginny. Are you really saying I could spend $150 and only make 69 cents?” Yes, that’s what I’m saying. But let me make sure you understand. A small % is paid out on your own Mall so that you can make a much higher % - meaning much more money - when you have hundreds and thousands of people shopping further below you. Hang with me until you see all the numbers. You’re only 3 levels away from $3500 a month!
On Tier 2 you’re going to have 10 people each generating $1.41 for a total of $14.10. Still not exciting but you’re building a solid foundation, which is exciting, and you really haven’t done very much, have you?
On Tier 3 you have 100 people generating $2.85 each for a total of $285 a month.
Ah… This is enough to sit up and take notice. And remember, MY POWER MALL hasn’t cost you anything, you’re not selling anything, and you’re saving money by purchasing on your Mall!
Tier 4 gives you 1000 people generating $3.56 for a total of $3560.00.
Whoa! Just 3 tiers below you and you’re already making over $3500 a month? And just from people buying things they were going to buy anyway? I think it’s fair to say this amount would change most people’s life!
Tier 5’s 10,000 people generating $.28 each gives you $2800.00.
You’ve taken a little dip because of the lower %, but you’re also at a total of over
$6600.00 a month. How does that feel? I know you’re eager to see what happens on the next Tier.
The 100,000 people on Tier 6 generating that same $.28 gives you $28,000 a month!
Whoa! Now we’re talking serious income! And at the risk of your thinking I’m nuts I’ll let you see what could happen from your shopping rebates in Tier 7.
The 1 million people on Tier 7 generating $.28 produces $280,000 a month. I think that deserves a double WOW! And, no, I’m not going to show you what could happen on the next two levels because I know you’re already having a hard time believing me. You can pull out a calculator, but the important thing to know is that the MY POWER MALL System has been created to generate tremendous income for EVERYONE!

If you add up the dollar amounts from the first 7 Shopping Tiers you get a total of over $300,000 in shopping rebates! We already agreed earlier that you probably won’t create a perfect 10 X 9 matrix so if you are having a hard time wrapping your mind around those kinds of figures, let’s look at what can be created in a much shorter period of time.
The total from just 3 Tiers is $299.79 (almost $300 a month).
The total from only 4 tiers is $3,859.79 (almost $3900 a month).
If you’re having a hard time believing the $313,000 figure, what if only 10% of all 7 tiers happened? That would still generate $31,385.97 (over $31,000) a month. It grows exponentially when you add in tiers 8 & 9. Would just 10% of my projections make your life better? Hey, even 2% would create over $6000 a month. Is that easier for you to wrap your brain around? And what if you gave a free My Power Mall to 15, or 20, or 30, or more people? What would THAT do?
I think it’s important, though, to show you what could happen if you did far less. Some people would tell me not to talk about this but for people who have tried, only to fail many times, the idea of getting 10 people to do anything might be more than they can fathom. I understand. So what would happen if you only found 5 people who wanted their own FREE shopping Mall? Let’s take a look:
Tier 1 – $.69
Tier 2 – $1.41 X 5 Malls = $7.05
Tier 3 - $2.85 X 25 = $71.25
Tier 4 – $3.56 x 125 = $445
Tier 5 - $.28 X 625 = $175.00
Tier 6 - $.28 X 3125 = $875.00
Tier 7 – $.28 X 15,625 = $4375.00
Tier 8 – $.28 X 78,125 = $21,875.00
Tier 9 – $.28 X 390,625 = $109,375
That’s a total of $627.00 a month for 5 Tiers.
It jumps to a total of $1502.74 on your 6th Tier, $5877.74 on your 7th Tier, over $27,000 a month on your 8th Tier, and over $135,000 a month on your 9th Tier. Can you see yourself giving away just 5 FREE Power Malls?
I hope so, and I also hope you’re seeing that no matter who you are, or where you live, YOU can succeed with MY POWER MALL!
As I mentioned before, when you’re looking at your Mall, you’ll see that each store pays a certain % or $ amount. They’re certainly not all the same. If you put your cursor over the % from each store there is a little box that pops up and says “This Rebate will be paid out through the 9 level Rebate System.” If you look at something and say, “Geesh, that’s not very much,” look back up at the numbers I just shared with you. A little bit from a lot of people can become VERY exciting! (Also, if there is a magnifying glass next to the rebate amount, click on it to see special conditions associated with the payout of rebates.)
Now would be a good time to go back to the MPM Calculator and explore the potential. And, yes, we realize that if everyone were to create perfect 10 X 9 matrixes that the whole world would be an MPM member before too long. :) The reality is that the odds of that happening are pretty slim. The odds, however, of your creating exciting income with My Power Mall just from a % of a full 10 X 9 matrix are very exciting! With 6.6 billion people in the world, there is going to be a huge opportunity for a long time. With new people being added every day, the opportunity will continue to be available. :)

I’m going to start by explaining the Team Pay because it is the key to your being able to generate at least $700 a month in the first 60 days of your being a My Power Mall member.
Each World Changer Member on your team is going to generate $7.00 into the Team Pay – both from the initial set-up AND the ongoing $15.95 subscription. Yes, more than 45% of the monthly subscription goes back to our members!

We pay this one out a little differently than the Shopping Income we’ll talk about next. You’re not going to make anything from your own membership, so that we can pay more on the 14 levels of Team Pay you will receive.
Level 1 (you) pays 0%
Level 2 pays 25%
Level 3 pays 20%
Level 4 pays 25%
Level 5–9 pay 5%
Levels 10–14 pay 1%

On Tier 2 you’re going to have 10 people each generating $1.75 for a total of $17.50.
Hmmmm…. You’re already covering your monthly subscription!
On Tier 3 you have 100 people generating $1.40 each for a total of $140.00 a month.
Ah… Now we’re starting to get somewhere.
Tier 4 gives you 1000 people generating $1.75 for a total of $1750.00.
Whoa! Combine those and you’ll realize that just 3 tiers below you you’re already making over $1900 a month? Please remember this is in ADDITION to the Shopping Income that will be generated. The Team Pay is exciting though because it allows you to start earning income within a few weeks to a month of your becoming a member.
If you want to be conservative and set your goal on just half of this happening in the first 60 days, you will still be making over $700 a month in your first 60 days. From that point forward, your income just continues to grow as you build your team and combine both shopping income and Team Pay.
Without sharing figures you’ll probably just roll your eyes at, filling Tier 5 will generate another $3500 a month in Team Pay, while Tier 6 would give you another $35,000 a month. Of course the dollar amounts go up as you go down through Tiers 7 through 14 but you’re already having a hard time believing me so let’s stop there. You’ll experience the income yourself as your team grows. The important thing is that most people would love the chance to add another $1900 to their lives on a monthly basis.
Hey, most people would love to add another $500 to $1000 a month to their life so if you have a hard time wrapping your brain around the big numbers, scale it way back to what YOU believe is possible and I think you’ll still be excited. I’ll work on increasing your belief level in the months ahead.

Now that you better understand HOW you are paid, I bet you’re wondering WHEN you are paid. You’ll get that information a little further down the line. There are just a few more things I want you to know before we start giving you training on how to give away the Malls – though I’m sure many of you have already given away a lot by this point. :-)

Shopping Tip: Stores are listed by default in Rebate Order (highest rebates first). If you click on the word Commission, it will reverse the rebate order (smallest to highest). If you click on the word Store, it will alphabetize the stores for you. If you click on it again, it will give the stores to you in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A). This is true for every page on the mall.
Business Building Tip: Listen to Ginny because she knows what she is talking about. Study the training in the back office; take notes and apply it. Most important - make a plan, any plan, and make sure you follow it. If you are shy and doubtful, set some easy goals and track your success. (Ron Vigard, Pennsylvania)
Change the World Tip: Look around and find a kid who needs to know they matter - there are way too many of them. Now determine to make that kid know someone believes they are special. Send them a card or note every week (at least). If you know what they are interested in, send them articles about it.
