Power Bite # 10 – Beyond The Basics



Dear MPM Member,

Now that you’ve learned the basics in How to Shop, let’s dig a little more into the Top Menu on your Mall site. The best way to learn everything we have for you is to just click on everything there is to click on. :)  Your Mall really is the source for, or the portal to (through your Back Office) everything you will need to create an amazing income and make money from all your shopping! 

Let’s break it down a little for you, though…  We’ve worked hard to make the stores you are most likely to use easy to find.

Specialty Stores Link (found in the menu at the top of your Mall)











OK – back to your Mall Favorites… Log into your back office. On the left-hand menu, under Manage My Mall, you will see a link labeled “My Favorite Stores.” 


Please take the time to do this now. 
It will truly make your Mall yours, and it will make it so much more fun to shop!





Make sure you go look at each one so you’ll begin to get an understanding of just what is in your Mall.  If you were buying a new brick & mortar Mall wouldn’t you go wander around in it until you knew all the stores?  Your Power Mall is no different.  Get to know it!

Shopping Tip: I'm repeating this Tip because it is so important! Watch for a magnifying glass     in any of the store’s Condition column and be sure to click on it. It will tell you about any special conditions set by that particular merchant that will affect your purchases (and commissions). These conditions are subject to change by the merchants so please check them at least once a month before you shop.

Business Building Tip:  Use your favorite search engine and search for "paid to read" sites. This is a pretty inexpensive way to advertise as you can find sites that give packages out starting at a dollar or two that include links and banners. (Larry Dull, Indiana)

Change the World Tip: Reach out to individuals or organizations in need of help. Assign someone to scan local newspapers, and listen to the radio and television for individuals and/or organizations that have specific needs. Extend an offer to help meet a need. Let groups of students identify the needs which they have a special desire to help. Giving them ownership will increase their commitment. (From our 101 Ways Your School Can Change the World ebook)
